At ZWT Ranch, with decades of
experience feeding and raising cattle, we are focused on balanced,
“common sense” genetics that tend to work well in all segments of
the cattle industry. We strive to produce easy-fleshing, fast-growing, self sufficient cattle with strong maternal genetics. Our goal is to produce cattle that work on the rail and keep customers coming back for the same great quality and consistency year after year. In these uncertain economic times, with rising grain prices and the use of grain by products in feed, we need to use the most predictable genetics available. The genetics we’ve put together will produce cattle that thrive in the feedlot environment with desirable weights, gains, conversions and yield grade, all with a reduction of days on feed. We believe that consistency of product is extremely important in this business, and we have a plan to try and maximize that consistency. |
